These are just some of the fake news and narratives that are spreading online, sometimes pushed by the same accounts and communities that spread antivaxx disinformation.
In the first weekly report about Ukraine-Russian conflict, EDMO’s fact-checking network states 5 disinformation trends that are circulating widely on social media. The report also points out the weaponization of fact-checks by fake media and fact-checking outlets: EDMO’s taskforce urged EU institutions to spread awareness and take action against these practices.
